Eating Out
Eating out offers endless options... You can keep it
simple with a delightful beach picnic, choosing fresh baked breads
and cheeses from the many delicatessens and foodstores in the village, and of course traditional fish and chips
eaten from paper while enjoying the evening sun over the sea is
always a treat.
A reviving cappucino or a fresh cup of tea is
never far away in the excellent choice of small cafes for informal dining.
In this
traditional fishing village, seafood plays a starring role in many of the
pubs and restaurants of Skerries. Dublin bay prawns are landed here and you will
find these in most restaurants, along with crab, mussels, sea bass and sea trout regularly
on the menus.
Traditional and good quality pub food, Italian
restaurants and pizzarias, and modern contemporary cuisine are all on offer too. For
more exotic tastes Skerries also has fantastic Indian and Asian cuisine on offer.
